Orgro, a Canadian freight, warehousing and customs brokerage provider with over 35 years’ experience, faced a common visibility problem: employees send thousands of one-to-one emails daily, but Orgro had no way to track engagement or use those emails for marketing. To turn everyday email into a measurable marketing channel, Orgro implemented Sigstr’s email signature marketing platform to centrally manage campaigns and add clickable visual promotions to employee Outlook signatures.
Using Sigstr, a single marketer on Orgro’s team uploads and assigns campaigns to user groups so updates appear automatically when employees compose new emails. In the first three months after an August 2015 launch (90 of 120 employees using the tool), Orgro tested multiple campaigns and saw immediate, measurable results: a warehousing campaign generated 193,000 displays and 318 clicks, and Sigstr has helped influence roughly $10,000 in new business.
