Gateway Credit Union Integrates Signix Digital Signatures for Expansion

Gateway Credit Union, newly rebranded from Food Industry Credit Union, faced slow, paper-driven loan applications that required mailing, corrections, and long turnaround times. To modernize their onboarding and build trust as they expanded membership, Gateway selected SIGNiX digital signatures to add online signing directly into their website.

SIGNiX was integrated using Gateway’s existing forms so members could click and sign without being redirected; staff learned the process via SIGNiX webinars and the Knowledge Base, with phone support available. The change cut average loan processing time from about a week to a day (some completed same day) and increased monthly loan completions from 11 to almost 15, with every signed document now containing embedded legal evidence of the signature event.
