The customer, the Veneto Municipalities, faced a challenge in providing reliable street lighting across their large green spaces, where access to the electricity grid was costly and unstable. Their goal was to enhance safety and sustainability. The vendor, Signify, addressed this by providing Philips SunStay solar-powered luminaires.

Signify implemented a solution using 82 Philips SunStay All-in-One fixtures, which use integrated photovoltaic panels and batteries to operate independently from the power grid. This resulted in a renewable, efficient, and easy-to-maintain lighting system for the eight municipalities.
