SL Green lights One Vanderbilt Avenue with Signify’s NYC tallest midtown office tower

The customer, SL Green, faced a challenge at their One Vanderbilt Avenue office tower in New York City. They needed to meet a city requirement for the building's "topped off" design and also wanted a programmable, colorful lighting system for its crown and spire to celebrate events and foster a public connection. They worked with vendor Signify and used Color Kinetics lighting products.

Signify implemented a full Color Kinetics lighting solution, including ColorGraze and ReachElite High Punch luminaires, to deliver dynamic, color-changing illumination. The system is controlled remotely via Interact Landmark software, allowing for vibrant displays for holidays and special occasions. This innovative lighting solution enhanced the city skyline and successfully created a stronger connection with the public.
