Qateifan Projects powers 23 buildings and 5 zones with Signify

The customer, Qateifan Projects, faced a significant challenge in equipping the large Meryal Water Park with a centralized lighting control system. Their major hurdle was designing a central driver solution to power all the LED lighting from distant feeder pillar locations, which required a complete redesign of the load schedule and cable sizing based on voltage drop calculations. Signify was brought in to address this complex project.

Signify implemented a comprehensive solution featuring a centralized DALI-based lighting control system for 23 buildings and a site-wide DMX control system across five different zones. This included installing central drivers in feeder pillars to operate the LEDs and integrating the entire system with the park's BMS, FAS, and ride control systems. This advanced setup from Signify provided centralized control, time scheduling for multiple scenes, and manual override capabilities for the entire water park.
