Melbourne Cricket Club (mcc) Trust upgrades 12 lighting zones across 7 levels with Signify

The Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) Trust, operator of the 100,000-seat Melbourne Cricket Ground, faced the challenge of moving the entire stadium onto a single, cohesive lighting control solution. This complex retrofit had to be completed around a very busy event schedule, including the AFL Grand Final and Boxing Day Test. The vendor, Signify, provided a Dynalite control system to address this need.

Signify's solution, implemented by certified system integrator Lightmoves, replaced the legacy control system with a unified Dynalite platform. This delivered enhanced, venue-wide control, enabling single-button activation for events like blackouts for concerts and preset configurations for sports. The final system manages all sports lighting, general illumination, and thematics throughout the venue, achieving extensive integration with other stadium systems for cohesive operation.
