Elektrobyrån lights Cultural Centre Spira with 87 Signify fixtures

The customer, Elektrobyrån, faced the challenge of creating a new lighting design and illumination scheme for the undulating upper facade of the Cultural Centre Spira in Jönköping. They partnered with vendor Signify and its certified system integrator, Kreativ Teknik, to design, install, and program the solution using Signify's Color Kinetics linear fixtures.

The solution implemented by Signify utilized 87 Color Kinetics ColorGraze MX4 Powercore fixtures mounted along the facade's bottom edge. Each fixture was uniquely addressed, allowing for the creation of dynamic movements and color shifts that made the building appear more alive. The entire system is controlled via a DMX system, enabling the customer to easily choose between pre-programmed scenarios. The project was completed smoothly, and the team has since collaborated on further work utilizing Signify's products.
