Deloitte powers a 40,000 m² smart office with Signify

The customer, Deloitte, faced the challenge of creating an innovative, intuitive, and productive multi-tenant office environment at The Edge in Amsterdam that would also serve as a global inspiration for sustainable building design. To meet this goal, they partnered with vendor Signify for a connected lighting solution utilizing Interact Office software.

Signify implemented a state-of-the-art system using 6,500 connected LED luminaires, 3,000 of which contained integrated IoT sensors to create a ‘digital ceiling.’ This Interact Office-based solution allowed employees to personalize their workspace conditions via a smartphone app and provided facility managers with real-time data dashboards. The results included a more comfortable and productive environment for employees, maximized operational efficiency, and a significant reduction in the building’s CO₂ footprint.
