The customer, Deloitte, faced the challenge of creating a smart and flexible office environment in its Milan location. They sought a connected lighting solution from vendor Signify that would give employees greater control over their workspace and provide data insights to help facility managers improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Signify implemented a solution using over 250 connected Philips LED luminaires with integrated sensors, all managed by Interact Office software. This system, delivered over a PoE network, allowed employees to personalize lighting via a smartphone app. The results were significant, enabling Deloitte to achieve lighting energy savings of up to 90%, drastically reduce CO2 emissions, and use real-time occupancy data to optimize space utilization and further lower costs.
