Yusari Filem pilots DCP delivery at 5 cinemas with Signiant Jet

Yusari Filem, a long-standing subtitling and digital cinema services company in Malaysia, faced challenges in delivering Digital Cinema Packages (DCPs) across the country. Their reliance on shipping hard drives via courier led to delays, security risks, and potential data corruption, while also having a negative environmental impact. To modernize this core business function, they turned to vendor Signiant and adopted its SaaS solution, Signiant Jet.

The solution from Signiant involved using Jet's file acceleration and secure transfer technology to power a new service called 'Move by Yusari.' This system automatically sends DCPs over broadband to cinema servers, ensuring file integrity and reliability. The results allowed Yusari to launch a scalable, cost-effective, and greener delivery service, beginning with a pilot at five cinemas and planning to expand to 100 sites by year's end. Signiant Jet also helps optimize existing Malaysian internet bandwidth and positions Yusari for future regional growth.
