Snowden Takes Mining Intelligence to the Cloud with Neuroverse

Perth-based Snowden, a 30-year provider of mining software and consulting, launched Neuroverse — a cloud-native SaaS on Microsoft Azure — to give mining companies real-time, collaborative access to geostatistical and operational data. The firm faced a major obstacle: geological resource block models and drill-hole datasets are often gigabytes in size and originate from remote sites with limited, high-latency connectivity, making standard HTTP uploads impractically slow and hindering timely decision-making.

Snowden integrated Signiant’s Flight Web Transfer API into Neuroverse to accelerate secure, reliable uploads to Azure Blob storage, enabling large model transfers in minutes rather than hours. The result is a responsive, cross‑platform platform of SnApps for analytics and 3D visualization, smoother migration from on‑premises tools, near‑real‑time collaboration across devices, and a scalable foundation for future IoT and large-file use cases.
