Mediaset Selects Signiant’s Digital Media Distribution Software

Mediaset, one of Italy’s largest commercial broadcast networks, faced the need to modernize its file-based workflows: accelerating secure transfers of large files between Rome and Milan, exchanging content with external partners, connecting regional sites over IP and enabling reporters to upload field-generated content — all under a single, automated point of configuration and management.

To address this, Mediaset deployed Signiant’s Digital Media Distribution Management Suite (installed by partner CVE in June 2008), a software-only, open and integrable solution. The system accelerated and secured transfers, linked regional operations and enabled field uploads, streamlining operations, centralizing management and improving resource efficiency — reducing time and costs.
