ENVY Post Production, a London-based full-service post house founded in 2006 and known for work on projects for BBC, Discovery and Netflix, faced growing demands for fast, secure transfer and global collaboration of very large media files. Relying on FTP and consumer tools proved too slow and risky for UHD/8K workflows and tight deadlines, and the company needed a client-friendly solution that preserved control over on‑premises assets.

ENVY adopted Signiant Media Shuttle in 2013, creating branded portals that accelerate transfers, maintain security, and scale with rising bandwidth (from 400 Mb/s to over 3 Gb/s). The platform enabled seamless VFX pipelines, archival access and remote editing—allowing ENVY to move an entire facility to remote post in weeks during the pandemic, double its Shuttle usage, keep projects on schedule, and adopt a hybrid, future-ready operating model.
