Delivering DCPs Across Malaysia with Signiant Jet

Yusari Filem, Malaysia’s first subtitling company founded in 1976, had transitioned to delivering Digital Cinema Packages (DCPs) but continued to rely on couriered hard drives. That workflow caused delays, security and environmental concerns and posed data-integrity risks—DCPs require exact SHA-1 hashed files in a Packing List—while limited and costly local internet bandwidth made reliable digital delivery difficult.

To solve this, Yusari deployed Signiant Jet and launched “Move by Yusari,” placing Move servers in cinemas connected to local TMS so DCPs are accelerated, securely transferred and automatically integrity-checked on arrival. After months of R&D the pilot is live in five cinemas (targeting 100 by year-end), providing faster, more reliable, cost-effective and greener DCP delivery and positioning the company to scale regionally as network speeds improve.
