Social BPM A Tool for Improving Communication and Employee Engagement

Taifun-Tofu GmbH, a growing organic tofu producer, faced increasing complexity in responsibility allocation and strict industry requirements (ISO, organic standards, HACCP). In 2012 their Quality Management team launched a BPM initiative to decentralize process capture, involve departmental experts, and make compliance and responsibility transparent across the company.

They implemented Signavio Process Manager’s collaborative tools—including the web-based Collaboration Hub and Quickmodel spreadsheet—so employees at all levels could access, comment on and model processes. The result was stronger communication and employee engagement, clearer assignment of responsibilities, company-wide acceptance of Quality Management, and simpler adherence to guidelines and compliance requirements.
