Resolution Life Australasia, an in‑force life insurer serving 1.1 million customers across Australia and New Zealand with ~A$30 billion in assets under management, needed to standardize business process management to improve visibility, compliance and process ownership and to reduce risk when onboarding newly acquired businesses. Although it already had a BPM capability, the company sought a consistent, enterprise-wide model to prepare for future mergers and make process documentation and accountability routine.
Resolution Life implemented the SAP Signavio portfolio (Process Manager, Process Governance, Process Collaboration Hub, Journey Modeler and Process Intelligence) via a “lift-and-shift” approach and an accountability model with 18 process owners. The program delivered a self‑service BPM foundation with 40.5% of business‑critical processes published, >400 monthly hub views, ~A$250,000 annual maintenance savings, faster M&A onboarding and stronger compliance and customer‑focused process improvement.
