Managing a global business transformation with SAP S/4HANA

Carl Zeiss, a global technology company in optics and optoelectronics, was managing a major business transformation as it moved toward a centralized ERP platform on SAP S/4HANA. SAP Signavio helped Carl Zeiss and Deloitte create a business-driven transformation model with global templates, clear modeling guidelines, and workflow-based process scoping. The result was greater transparency, a harmonized process landscape, and a faster rollout thanks to an optimized tool chain and governance. SAP Signavio also helped reduce template processes to about 600, create a stronger foundation for test management, and identify future cost-saving opportunities in production and sales.
