EJOT, a Bad Berleburg–based manufacturer of fastening components with more than 3,700 employees and €617 million revenue (2021), produces billions of safety‑critical fasteners each year. To maintain quality and strengthen supplier and customer partnerships, the company sought to automate administrative purchase‑to‑pay processes and reclaim time for higher‑value work through process mining.

By deploying SAP Signavio Process Intelligence—quick to adopt, SAP‑integrated, and easy to use—EJOT rapidly analyzed and optimized purchasing workflows. Results included a drop in manual quantity changes from 9% to 5.5%, a fall in manual price changes across 11,500 orders from 86% to 2%, and projected annual time savings of about 270 and 157 hours respectively, helping secure steady supply and free staff for value‑adding tasks.
