As it migrates from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA Cloud, KWS faced an evolving IT landscape with no single source of truth, limited visibility into planned changes, unclear integration points between SAP and non‑SAP systems, and difficulty linking processes to current and target applications.

KWS implemented SAP Signavio Process Transformation Suite together with LeanIX Enterprise Architecture Management to connect business processes with applications, interfaces and IT components, and to enable stakeholder collaboration. The combined solution created transparency for strategic IT planning, sped up process optimization and change impact assessment, and established a common language for the S/4HANA transition—covering 352 applications and linking 5,493 process steps to applications.
