SignalWire Plays Pivotal Role in Increased Subscriber Retention at Robokiller due to Better Spam Blocking

Robokiller, a mobile app from Teltech that blocks spam calls, needed a more aggressive way to stop robocalls as spammers adopted newer evasion tactics like neighbor spoofing. To improve its filtering while still letting genuine calls through, Robokiller turned to SignalWire and its voice APIs for outbound VoIP calling.

Using SignalWire, Robokiller 5 routed incoming calls through Robokiller’s spam detection system and then sent authentic calls back to users as outbound VoIP calls. The solution was reliable, easy for the team to implement, and able to handle traffic for hundreds of thousands of customers, resulting in improved product effectiveness and increased long-term subscriber retention.
