SignalWire Events helps MKE Tech Hub Coalition Attract Talent to Milwaukee Region

Milwaukee Tech Hub Coalition, a group of 65 organizations focused on growing tech talent and economic prosperity in the Milwaukee region, needed a virtual event experience that felt as close as possible to its traditional quarterly meetings. With the pandemic forcing the Coalition’s first virtual event, it wanted more than one-way presentations—it needed a two-way, interactive format that could encourage dialogue, feedback, and networking. The organization used SignalWire Events for its one-year anniversary celebration.

Using SignalWire Events, Milwaukee Tech Hub Coalition created a branded, conference-style virtual space with a Main Tent for presentations, breakout rooms for panels and workshops, and casual networking areas like a Lobby and Coffee Shop. SignalWire’s Room Navigator let attendees move freely between rooms and see who was where, while background audio helped create a natural atmosphere. The result was overwhelmingly positive attendee feedback, a virtual event that closely mirrored the in-person experience, and a plan for the Coalition to continue using SignalWire in future events to expand accessibility.
