Signagelive provide the software used in the light/image sphere at the World Expo 2017 in Kazakhstan

VML Technologies, a specialist in LED media façades, needed a scalable, high‑resolution content playback and management solution for the light/image sphere at World Expo 2017 in Kazakhstan. VML‑Technologies designed, manufactured and integrated the LED system and engaged AVDIS BV to deploy Signagelive software to schedule and monitor the sphere’s content.

Signagelive supplied the playback platform, implemented with Intel NUC UHD players and a Datapath FX4; by using multiple NUCs and Signagelive licenses they created multiple segments across the sphere and—thanks to the high pixel count—no sync was required. Signagelive delivered reliable, scheduled playback and monitoring on time, providing the necessary pixel coverage and segmenting capability to power the installation effectively and efficiently.
