The University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications was running out of wall space to display alumni awards and wanted a way to present all achievements alphabetically and chronologically without privileging recent winners. To solve this, the College selected a digital signage approach built around Signagelive’s cloud-based software, deployed on Seneca media players, to replace static displays and centrally manage content.

Signagelive delivered an HTML5 cloud platform with intuitive scheduling, remote updates and social/QR integrations; the College installed multiple displays (including two in the main student lounge) and expanded to a campus-wide network. Using Signagelive, staff can pre-schedule content, push urgent announcements instantly, and have significantly expanded and improved their messaging reach at an affordable cost, freeing PR time and increasing visibility of alumni achievements and campus information.
