Lab Series, the men's skincare range from Estée Lauder, wanted to move digital signage beyond passive screens and create an interactive in-store experience across multiple retail locations. Signagelive, via partner Lime IT, provided an interactive digital signage solution using its platform and “interrupts” feature to deliver centrally managed, mobile-networked content for the Lab Series installations.

Signagelive’s interrupts were configured to respond to RFID triggers so that when an RFID‑tagged product is removed from the shelf the system plays the relevant media or playlist immediately. The solution was rolled out across several House of Fraser sites in the UK and Macy’s in Toronto, managed centrally over GPRS/3G, eliminating the need for customers to perform a secondary scan and improving immediacy and engagement while demonstrating a scalable, inter‑continental deployment.
