Iceland Foods, the UK frozen-food retailer, needed to modernise hundreds of stores to combat rising competition and better communicate offers and home-delivery slots. Iceland Foods engaged Signagelive (working with partner Lumino AV) to replace static window posters and freezer displays with a digital signage strategy using the Signagelive Content Management cloud-based CMS and high‑brightness, Tizen Samsung displays.
Signagelive delivered a scalable, centrally managed solution with consultancy, advanced scheduling, conditional playback and implementation support, deployed in bespoke housings by Lumino AV. The digital rollout increased footfall across refurbished stores, lifted turnover by 120–150% in those locations, produced dramatic product uplifts (for example a 700% rise in Coconut Water sales at Clapham), reduced staff time and print/distribution costs, and opened new advertising and real‑time home‑delivery promotion opportunities.
