Greater Columbus Convention Centre gets North America’s first LG installed Direct View LED powered by Signagelive

Greater Columbus Convention Centre, completing a $140M, 22-month expansion, wanted a high-impact, seamless video wall to greet visitors, aid wayfinding and showcase local art. For their first North American LG Installed Direct View LED project they required a reliable cloud CMS to manage ultra‑high-resolution content — a need met by Signagelive’s digital signage-as-a-service platform.

Signagelive powered the content management for a 7ft x 60ft, 4mm LG Direct View LED video wall (540,000 pixels) integrated by Coffman Media with Peerless AV mounts and content by Reese Brothers. The solution delivers scheduled, 24/7 visuals in “The Connector,” highlights local artists, supports advertising opportunities, and demonstrated Signagelive’s ability to run an ultra‑high‑resolution LED installation while meeting the Centre’s wayfinding and engagement objectives.
