The University of Alberta engaged Sign In Scheduling, deploying the 10to8 appointment-scheduling platform to manage COVID-era vaccination status reporting and rapid testing across three campuses. With roughly 40,000 students and 10–15k faculty and staff, the university needed a scalable, multi-site, easy-to-use system that could handle repeated appointments, users moving between sites, and reliable communications and reminders.

Sign In Scheduling rolled out 10to8 in a five-day implementation, adding SMS/email reminders, multi-site bookings and real-time appointment changes. The solution enabled roughly 800–1,000 tests per week (about 200 appointments per day), scheduled around 13,000 people within three months, reduced administrative workload, and delivered average wait times of 2 days (maximum 4), helping the university meet testing requirements and protect campus public health.
