National College for High Speed Rail Fast Tracks Improved Levels of Visitor Management with Solution from Sign In App

The National College for High Speed Rail, a government-backed training provider with campuses in Birmingham and Doncaster, was relying on a pen-and-paper sign-in process that was unreliable, not GDPR compliant and ill-suited to managing large numbers of learners and visitors (conference days can see up to 200 additional visitors). Facing imminent GDPR requirements and a need for an intuitive, scalable system, the College turned to Sign In App for a modern visitor and personnel management solution.

Sign In App deployed three units at each campus and was configured by the College’s IT team with no end-user training required, bringing both sites live within a day and a half. The Sign In App solution delivered GDPR-focused features (pin-code privacy controls and immediate deletion of visitor records), a live on-site personnel list for faster emergency headcounts, and simple multi-site licensing to support planned expansion—measurable outcomes that improved compliance, safety and operational efficiency.
