Preview of the SAQ Case Study

The SAQ modernizes workforce planning for 5,500 employees with SIGMA-HR

SAQ (Société des alcools du Québec) needed to replace an obsolete in-house scheduling and personnel management system that could no longer handle its complex collective agreements, workforce planning needs, and flexible work-hour requirements. To support its digital transformation, SAQ turned to SIGMA-RH and its Workforce Labour Optimization software.

SIGMA-RH implemented the Workforce Labour Optimization module with Collaborative Intelligent Planning to automate scheduling and centralize data while respecting collective agreement rules, employee availability, skills, and legal constraints. The solution successfully manages weekly schedules, replacements, overtime, and assignment rules for 5,500 employees across 404 branches, improving the employee and manager experience and delivering a smooth deployment with no major issues.
