Slope Software, a cloud-native financial projection ecosystem for actuaries, needed a better embedded analytics solution to replace Looker. The company was struggling with complexity, limited functionality, and support issues that made it hard for its development team to quickly expose new data and features to customers. Sigma Computing was brought in as the embedded analytics platform, with direct access to Snowflake data.

With Sigma Computing, Slope Software was able to simplify analytics, speed up dashboard and report creation, and give customers a spreadsheet-like interface they could learn quickly. The switch helped reduce custom dashboard build time by 99%, contributed to 150% year-over-year revenue growth in FY23, and helped Slope land its biggest deal with a major consulting firm. The solution also reduced pressure on Slope’s dev team by enabling end users to self-serve many tasks that previously required engineering support.
