Here’s Why Fraud Prevention Is Really Just a Data Problem

NG.CASH, a Brazilian Gen Z fintech and teen banking provider in Brazil and LATAM, needed a better way to fight fraud and support self-service analytics. Before using Sigma Computing’s BI platform, the team relied on AWS’s native BI tool, which lacked automated Slack reporting and made it difficult for analysts and operations teams to access and use data quickly.

With Sigma Computing, NG.CASH built more effective fraud-tracking and case-handling workflows, enabling proactive decision-making and easier data correlation without heavy SQL dependence. The results were strong: %Fraud Users dropped by 89.0%, %Fraud Transaction Volume (TTV) fell by 66.3%, infraction rate decreased by 67.2% in three months, and the Infraction Reports Total Recovery Rate improved from 1% to 25%.
