A Sigma Computing Case Study
P97 Networks, a technology company serving gas stations and convenience stores, needed to fix a messy reporting environment made up of more than 180 disjointed reports and overlapping datasets. With Sigma Computing and Databricks, the team wanted a scalable reporting platform to support self-service analytics, embedded reporting, and better decision-making for both internal teams and customers.
Sigma Computing helped P97 consolidate redundant reports into reusable Sigma workbooks, modernize its embedded analytics experience, and shift data transformations into Databricks streaming tables before data reached reports. As a result, P97 reduced report maintenance, improved BI development speed, enabled near real-time transactional and fraud insights, and laid the groundwork for monetized self-service access and broader report usage.
