Fowler Oldfield, a UK jewellery supplier serving more than 500 retail businesses, wanted to replace paper catalogues with a digital catalogue and self-service ordering system for professional jewellers. The company needed a mobile tool that would show up-to-date product information, accurate dimensions, and high-quality images so jewellers could browse and order items in-store, even when products were not in stock.
On Sight provided “The Jeweller’s Pad,” a personalized electronic catalogue loaded onto locked-down Android tablets for Fowler Oldfield’s retail partners. The system lets customers browse products, place orders immediately, update automatically when new products are added, and assign different prices for retail or wholesale customers, while also reducing paper use and helping jewellers control inventory costs.
