Orkla, a leading branded consumer goods company, faced limited spend visibility from a legacy in‑house solution, fragmented ERP systems and decentralized data, and no coordinated view of supplier performance. To address these challenges they engaged Sievo and its spend analysis / spend visibility platform to provide a more visual, procurement‑focused solution that could consolidate data and support supplier and stakeholder collaboration.

Sievo implemented its spend analysis tool (in production since 2013), integrating 37 live systems and maturing the platform to include delivery performance metrics and KPIs. Sievo’s solution became the core of Orkla’s supplier performance program (BSUPHRB), is used by senior management to track savings and projects, and delivered intuitive spend visibility, better supplier collaboration, improved delivery quality, stronger negotiation positions and coordinated strategic sourcing across business units.
