Omni Mold, a Singapore-based ultra-precision mold manufacturer serving electronics, automotive, telecom and medical customers, faced a need to compress design cycles, shorten production lead times, curb human error, lower manufacturing costs and cope with a lean workforce during rapid expansion. To address these challenges the company partnered with Siemens PLM, building on prior use of NX and adopting Teamcenter to better integrate design and manufacturing data.

Siemens PLM implemented NX for 3D CAD/CAM and Teamcenter for product lifecycle management, enabling reuse of product information, faster changes, tighter revision control and closer design-to-manufacturing integration. The result: human errors were vastly reduced, engineers shifted to more value-added work, and Omni Mold expects about a 16% personnel savings once PLM is fully deployed plus a projected 4–6 week reduction in turnaround time—helping the company sustain fast delivery and lower costs.
