A Siemens Asset Management Software Case Study
Waco Independent School District (ISD) faced the challenge of managing aging facilities and needed a robust system to track maintenance and justify funding for new school construction. To address this, they partnered with Brightly Software and implemented its Siemens Asset Management Software, specifically Asset Essentials with Maintenance Direct and the capital planning solution.
By utilizing Brightly Software's asset management system, Waco ISD could centralize and leverage its facilities data. This enabled the district to secure a $355 million bond, increase an insurance payout by $8 million after a fire, justify the creation of a six-person preventative maintenance team, and increase its facilities budget five-fold to $3 million annually.
