Sorell Council, a municipality in Tasmania, faced challenges as its infrastructure planning and development requirements were exceeding the capabilities of its internal systems and resources. The council engaged Brightly Software, using its Siemens Assetic solution, to improve resourcing, financial transparency, and asset management processes.

Brightly Software implemented its Assetic cloud software, which integrated with the council's finance system for accurate asset management and real-time capture of maintenance costs. This provided an accurate loop from customer request to work completion. The solution resulted in a 132% productivity increase, demonstrated by the creation of 1,267 work orders in a recent period compared to 546 in the same period the previous year.
