City of Asheville secures $3.5M annual funding with Brightly Software

The City of Asheville faced the challenge of insufficient funding to properly maintain its portfolio of aging municipal buildings. With no data to communicate these needs to its City Council, it turned to Brightly Software and utilized its Predictor product to assess facility conditions and model future funding scenarios.

Brightly's solution integrated the city's existing asset data from its CMMS into Predictor for predictive modeling. This provided the data-driven evidence needed to secure a significant increase in annual funding, from $1 million to $3.5 million, to maintain its buildings. The solution also enabled the city to set clear priorities for capital funding, including the identification and planned replacement of an aging fire station.
