The City of Ann Arbor, Michigan faced a challenge with its aging streetlight infrastructure. Brightly Software's solution involved using its Predictor software to perform a multi-component funding analysis of the streetlight system over a 25-year period. This data-driven approach allowed the city to build a model and present an optimal investment strategy to its council. As a result, the City of Ann Arbor successfully won a 137% funding increase, growing its budget from $300,000 to $710,000, which put them on track to meet new safety and service goals while also saving considerable IT resources.
