The council was hand-recording condition information and transposing it into spreadsheets, a process prone to human error and duplication. To streamline this, they turned to Brightly Software and its Siemens Confirm asset management system.
Brightly Software implemented a solution using Siemens ConfirmConnect, which allowed inspectors to input data and upload photos directly into the system via tablets while on site. Custom code was written to automatically calculate complex asset condition scores. This eliminated double handling of data, saved a significant amount of staff time, and established Confirm as a single, accurate source of truth for all asset information.
