How to use the internet to succeed at event marketing

CORSAIR, the PC components company, needed to turn BlizzCon’s large in-person and online audience into booth traffic and measurable ROI. To amplify their event marketing with giveaways, influencer activations and live content, CORSAIR worked with Sideqik and used Sideqik’s influencer and event-tracking tools to connect in-person activity to digital metrics.

Sideqik helped coordinate influencer partnerships (including Splyce and streamers), IRL streams, social promotion and on-site giveaways while providing tracking to measure impact; the campaign generated major buzz, drove attendees to CORSAIR’s booth and produced a top-performing result of $17.9k. By using Sideqik’s tools to quantify in-person engagement, CORSAIR could attribute convention activity to online performance and optimize future events.
