Argentinian Entrepreneur partnered with Siblings Software to address the challenge of monitoring bin-filling status across a city and helping garbage truck drivers know which bins needed emptying and the shortest route to reach them. The goal was to improve collection efficiency and reduce wasted fuel and driving time.

Siblings Software built a full REST API backend, a web portal for tracking bins, managing drivers, and collecting statistics, plus a mobile app integrated with Google Maps for route optimization. Using sensor data from ultrasound devices placed in the bins, the solution helped save 50K fuel gallons and 25K driving hours in the last year, and is now used by 12 garbage collector companies across 5 cities.
