Driving quality auto leads through an interactive Instant Experience

Ford worked with Shuttlerock to drive lead generation in Germany by adapting its online Car Configurator into a more immersive social ad. The challenge was to move showroom interactions online and increase consideration for the Mustang Mach‑E, so Shuttlerock’s DACH team proposed an interactive Instant Experience on Facebook that used existing imagery and long‑form video assets.

Shuttlerock built a lead‑in video plus a full‑screen, three‑step configurator allowing users to select model, battery/powertrain and color, then swipe up to continue in Ford’s online configurator with choices pre‑selected. The campaign produced 56% higher view time and a 15% lower cost‑per‑lead versus Ford’s regular Instant Experiences, generated useful on‑platform signal for retargeting, and was quickly localized for other markets.
