PAX Utilizes ShowClix's Virtual Queue to Control High-Demand On-sales

ReedPOP, the organizer behind more than 30 pop-culture conventions including the gaming-focused Penny Arcade Expo (PAX), faced extreme demand for tickets and needed to ensure on-sales were smooth, secure, and fair for all visitors. They required a flexible system and experienced team to control online crowds, improve the customer experience, and maximize ticket sales.

PAX implemented ShowClix’s custom virtual queue to manage traffic, communicate instant updates to waiting customers, and rely on real-time support from ShowClix experts. The system handled an average of 152K page sessions in the first hour of PAX West’s on-sale, gave ReedPOP full control over purchase flow, and has been used in 20+ virtual queue on-sales since its 2013 launch.
