Magical Winter Lights Uses ShowClix's Segments Tool to Collect Valuable Attendee Information

Magical Winter Lights, a 50-day multicultural holiday light festival produced by People Generation and Sichuan PG Salient, runs in Houston and Dallas–Fort Worth with themed sections, performances, and family attractions. The organizers wanted better attendee insights to optimize marketing and expand the event, but their previous approach—sending one survey to all attendees after the festival ended—was slow and didn’t allow filtering by recent attendance.

They implemented ShowClix’s Segments tool to group ticket buyers by recent attendance and automatically send targeted surveys through the ShowClix Admin. As a result, surveys reach attendees much faster (a 38‑day average decrease), favorite-attraction responses rose 27%, and segments can send 11K+ emails—giving the team richer demographic data, clearer campaign tracking, and better insight into popular attractions.
