Kestrel Group worked with Showcase Workshop to modernize disaster preparedness and crisis management. Their challenge was replacing outdated, paper-based recovery binders with a solution that would keep critical plans current, accessible, and usable in an emergency.

Showcase Workshop delivered Kestrel’s “Talon” app-based platform, built on Showcase Workshop’s offline-capable digital showcase tools and custom HTML5 web apps. The solution stores disaster recovery documents, flowcharts, emergency contact dialing, and crisis logging forms in one mobile-friendly system, with real-time feed updates and reviewable action logs; Kestrel has used it to help more than half a dozen Kiwi companies adopt a modern digital approach to preparedness.
