Careers NZ worked with Showcase Workshop to improve how their showcase content could be used at trade shows and events. Their challenge was to let students and visitors explore self-help resources on public-facing iPads without accidentally exiting the app or seeing irrelevant backend content, especially in busy expo settings.

Showcase Workshop solved this by using Kiosk Mode in the Showcase app, creating a dedicated presentation for event use and locking it to the showcase view by disabling the Home button. This made the iPads easier and safer to use in public, allowed staff to reset the presentation quickly between visitors, and helped Careers NZ focus more on direct interactions.
