Kevin McCorrister, a teacher at Lincoln Middle School in Winnipeg, Manitoba, needed a faster, cross-platform way to create classes and assignments, type or upload large amounts of content, and stay connected with students working on different devices. He adopted Showbie, using the Showbie web app for file access, assignment setup and bulk typing, alongside the Showbie iPad app for in-class feedback.

Showbie’s combination of web and iPad apps let Kevin set up classes and upload files quickly from desktop/Dropbox while marking and commenting on student work in real time on the iPad. As a result, task creation is faster and students receive immediate feedback—students were already reading his notes and commenting on what to improve right after he marked their work, demonstrating improved engagement and a more efficient workflow with Showbie.
