Las Vegas Day School - Customer Case Study

Las Vegas Day School faced the challenge of preparing students to work across multiple platforms even though most students use iPads and the Showbie iPad app. Computer teacher Sue Ann Miller introduced the Showbie web app to ensure students aren’t intimidated by different interfaces and learn to navigate unfamiliar platforms confidently.

Using the Showbie web app, Sue Ann uploads videos and resources and requires students to access class materials through the web platform, teaching an alternative method of working and information access. As a result, students gain cross-platform fluency with Showbie, helping them transition to elective computer classes in high school and college—important since 90 percent of their computer classes become electives after eighth grade.
