How Showbie Became a Game Changer at a Las Vegas High School

Bishop Gorman High School, a 1,500‑student private college preparatory school in Las Vegas, faced technology bottlenecks from shared devices and needed a consistent platform to support its new 1:1 iPad program. Director of Instructional Technology April Sauline evaluated paperless classroom apps and selected Showbie to give teachers and students a seamless way to create, share, and provide feedback on assignments across devices.

Showbie was rolled out via a pilot, followed by schoolwide training and on‑demand support, becoming the district’s primary workflow tool. Within two years every teacher at Bishop Gorman was using Showbie, training feedback was 100% positive, the school moved closer to its goal of being 100% paperless, and communication and accountability improved—administrators can now message every student with a click and parents can track assignments and progress.
